On the back of continued growth, our client is seeking a forward-thinking Optometrist to join their team in Ashburton just a 55-minute drive from Christchurch

The practice is owned by an experienced optometrist whose priority is to provide the best eye care experience. The practice has been established in the community for over 18 years and recognised for providing patients with quality eye care, in a responsible and caring manner.

About the role
You will be committed to delivering total patient satisfaction, conducting thorough eye examinations, contact lens assessments and contact lens aftercare and using your knowledge to effectively identify patients’ eye care needs to recommend appropriate solutions.

You will work Monday to Friday with a 45-minute appointment schedule. The practice is equipped with an OCT, topographer, perimeter and fundus camera.

Essential Criteria
To apply for this unique position, you must be a fully qualified, ODOB registered optometrist and have a minimum of two years experience in your field. You will be a strong communicator with excellent people skills and the ability to put your customers at ease and focused on providing quality eye care.
